In modern military, things like drones and missiles are new threats. The use of long-range missiles brings new requirements. Being an effective military force must have the capacity to respond to that threat. We can think that air defense armament is enough to respond to that threat. The AA crew sits and shoots incoming missiles and drones. This kind of passive defense has one problem. The enemy can use a large number of drones and missiles to make AA run out of ammunition. There is a limited number of missiles. And one of the most feared tactics is the use of a large number of AI-controlled drones.
Those drones have the capacity to destroy their targets. Small kamikaze drones can also damage electric cables or radar systems. And they are a big threat to AA crews. It is almost certain that the attackers will drop pocket-sized kamikaze drones into the target area to target the AA crews. Those munitions can destroy radars and radio systems.
A ballistic missile. Or. A stealth fighter or large-sized drone can drop that dangerous loitering ammunition on the target area. There are many ways to transport those weapons.
With high accuracy. This means that AA must shoot down every single drone. And every shot requires ammunition. This is one of the problems. The use of lasers and HPM (High Power Microwave) for that mission. But that doesn’t remove the vulnerability. The DEW (Direct Energy Weapon) requires electricity. And if the saboteur or drone can destroy the power supply. That weapon turns ineffective.

Maybe an AI-controlled stealth version of the Shahed drones could surprise those weapons. And the saboteur. Can shoot the laser systems by using a sniper rifle. Or small-sized kamikaze drones. A pocket-sized drone that travels at speeds of about 200-300 km/h.Travels to a radar or laser platform. It is very hard to detect that thing. A saboteur can slip that drone near those platforms. And then use them in a very short warning time.
The problem is those systems. They can be manufactured in large numbers far away from the front. They can be launched from very long distances. And if those factories are not destroyed. Those strikes continue. This means. The military force must have.
Deep penetration capacity. To attack and destroy those threats. The problem is in the model. There are strategic missiles that can also have tactical abilities. Things like low-yield nuclear weapons, neutron bombs, cluster bombs, and drone swarms. They can make those missiles capable of striking other continents using incredible accuracy. ICBM missiles can carry AI-controlled drone swarms. Those systems can independently search and eliminate targets.
There is a possibility that some small-sized UAPs are the heat shields for capsules that can carry and deliver small kamikaze drones. Image-recognition systems allow them to strike any target in targeted areas. Those drones can damage radars and defense infrastructure. They can also eliminate key personnel in the defense. Those loitering munitions can damage command posts, including Air Force One. They can also destroy communication antennas. And. Cause damage to submarine hulls.
